Age Difference Calculation Example
Suppose Person A was born on January 15, 2000, and Person B was born on May 20, 2003. Person A is older. Their age difference is 3 years, 4 months and 5 days, which is 1,221 calendar days.
This difference does not change with time. The separate “Their Ages Today” section does change daily based on your local calendar date.
How Is the Age Gap Calculated?
The calculator places the earlier birth date first, then counts completed calendar months up to the later birth date. Any days left after those completed months are shown separately. For month-end dates, adding a month clamps the day to that month’s final day when necessary. It also counts actual days between the birthdays, including leap days.
For example, a February 29 birth anniversary is treated as February 28 in non-leap years for the separate next-birthday countdown. Other calendars or legal systems may use a different convention. These results are intended for everyday use, not official age verification.

No. The difference between two birth dates is fixed. Their individual ages increase, but the gap between their birth dates remains constant.
